My Story

I was born and raised in beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado where I received my Bachelor's in Counseling Psychology and Studio Art from Colorado Mesa University. In 2021, I received my Master's in School Counseling. I worked at Colorado Mesa University and the school district and after four years, I knew I wanted to dedicate more time to one-on-one session with my clients. In 2024, I completed my LPC and was given the opportunity to do just that.

My goal is to create a space that is inclusive, safe, and trusting to all populations. I want everyone who walks through the door to know that no matter whether you and I begin a therapeutic relationship or I assist in helping you find what you're looking for, I will keep your best interest at heart.

My "Why" comes from making people feel seen for who we are rather than what we present to people. Along with a listening ear, I encourage movement of the body and checking in with what your soul requires to find peace, whether that be social connections, spiritual beliefs, or mindfulness.

A few fun facts about me are I have had some of my artwork hung throughout the community, I have worked with BAM (Business Art Mentorship) as an Art Therapy Mentor, and I have even been a Personal Trainer!

Now for the fun stuff!

My hobbies are spending time with my amazing family, traveling, going to gym, art and music. I also love anything ocean related. I truly feel like I am a student of life, so learning anything new fills my cup.

My Approach

We take a person-centered approach along with CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) techniques. Examples of this can be mindfulness, emotional regulation, challenging our false beliefs and finding new ways to manage the relationships in your life. Whether it is a long term goal, or a current event at the forefront, rest assured, we are here to support you.
